Have you ever won a trophy?

I won the Australia Travel Writer of the Year in 2005, the Jack Butters Award for Excellence in Travel Journalism the same year, and the Australian Travel Book of the Year in 2007. It's about time I entered more travel writing awards.

Describe your ideal day on the Sunshine Coast?

A walk in the Noosa National Park first thing in the morning, a swim in my pool, a rewarding day at work, a glass of wine by the Noosa River in the evening, a simple home-cooked meal with my husband and bit of good TV.
