Article excerpt

Bec Naseby Hay: Thumbs up to a new business in town - Flowers by Bonnie We walked through the doors into a little wonderland of flowers, not just your normal roses and pretties, but exotic and vibrant looking blooms, some of which I have never seen before. We ordered the most amazing boquet of flowers and it was made right there in front of us in under 10 mins. please support local business.

Sue Noddy: thumbs down to Channel ten, V8s supercars and Foxtel for not showing V8s, Formula 1, MotoGP in full on free to air tv. Marginalising the fans, why govt allowed this to happen is beyond me, not everyone can afford Foxtel, how is that fair?

Cara Madden: Thumbs up to the wonderful staff at Heart and Soul wholefood cafe for their happy attitudes and always making my children feel welcome by greeting them and chatting to them too. The girls love coming in for their babycinos and healthy hot chocolates.

Peter Boyd: thumbs down to those that still speed through road works even when the workman holding slow down sign

Judith Cardow: Thumbs up to the young boy who was on a skate board on the Pound Street as I was walking on the footpath and got off his skateboard til I was past.

Angela Lloyd: Kinda a Thumbs down - to the lack of activities for 5-11yr Olds... Now I don't know the full details but so far I've heard there was free skirmish in market square for 12-25yr Olds and the free sponge Bob movie for 12-18yr Olds.... my 6 and 9yr old are going bonkers lol... Even if it's not free, I'm not above paying, but something for them would be awesome...

David-John Francis: Thumbs Down to the class act that left her young son in the car with a puppy at Grafton (Old Coles) Mall and screeched at him; "Wait there with the f***in' mutt while I go get me smokes!" Shameful! Thumbs Up to everyone at I Scream! My favourite place for a naughty weekend lunch treat! Friendly people, yummy food.

Chris Fisher: Thumbs up to Anne (greyhound lady) who despite most of the racing industries utter disregard for their animals when they finish racing she takes some of them in and often goes without herself for them

Lisa Greedy: Thumbs up to 2BeNourished-Chrissy & the other team members are so awesome to work with-I'm proud to be part of that team! …
