FACING the third side with flair in as many weeks holds no fears for Coffs Harbour coach Colin Speed.

After seeing off Macksville and Nambucca Heads, teams with a reputation for ad hoc playing skills, Speed says nullifying the tricks he expects from premiership leader South Grafton will be well within the capability of his playing group.

But in a compliment to the Rebels rising status, he admits to giving more than a few passing thoughts about how best to handle their chief playmakers Ant Cowan and Roy Bell.

"I've got huge respect for both men and perhaps there will be some heavy traffic heading in their direction," he said with a chuckle.

"By the same token, we won't get carried away with worrying about what they can do when it's more important to worry about playing your own game. …
