WALKING DOWN the catwalk with over 300 eyes glaring at you.

This will be me, along with 91other entrants in the 2015 RACQ CQ Rescue Model Search to be held at the MECC this Saturday.

The Model Search is a fundraising competition with each entrant raising $200-$250 to enter, knowing all raised funds go to RACQ CQ Rescue to help fly the helicopter on rescue missions.

As an entrant myself I will be very nervous on the night, knowing that there will be three very experienced judges on the panel. Joel Bow, the producer of Mackay's Got Talent and co-owner of Red Giraffe Theatre, a model scout from Vivien's Model management; one of the largest modelling agencies in Australia, and international model and Mackay boy, Shaun Casey. How exciting, to meet such experienced people in the modelling industry. Finding the right outfits for the different categories is fun. Browsing the web and organising hair and make-up trials are also part of the preparation. …
