MACKAY make-up master Corissa Ivory has been selected to work at Australian Bridal Fashion Week in Sydney.

She is one of just 10 artists selected to do the make-up at the prestigious national event.

Ms Ivory said it would be three full days of doing make-up, with 6.30am starts each day.

"They'll be big days, they'll be really exhilarating and a big adrenalin rush," she said.

The co-owner of Funk it Up beauty salon said this sort of experience was almost the pinnacle for a make-up artist.

"I'm excited, I'm really excited to work with people at that professional level," she said.

"I think it's an amazing experience.

"I'm really looking forward to bringing back new bridal looks for our brides in 2015/16, also to share with our team. …
