Tim's New Connection Helps Us Tune in to the CQ Music Scene

WHEN Tim Sunderland picked up a set of drumsticks for the first time in 1997, his passion for music was discovered.

For the past 18 years the Rockhampton born-and-bred musician has been heavily involved in the Central Queensland music and entertainment scene but has found it hard to connect with other artists and share his work.

To remedy this, Tim recently created social networking hub The Sine Wave Connection.

"I've played around town for a number of years since I first started playing the drums in 1997, followed by the bass guitar. I've played with local pub rock band Level 27 since 2008 and recently have been producing my over dance music," Tim said.

"Everyone agrees advertising is a struggle, there's been a few Facebook pages pop up over the years but their intentions have been mixed or selfish at times and mainly focused towards the 'important' musicians in town.

"So I've started a new non-profit community organisation called The Sine Wave Connection. …
