Policeman Saves an Injured Joey

Article excerpt

It's nice to know there are some good caring neighbours around.

A big Thumbs Up to the Woolgoolga policeman - Josh, for his outstanding chase and capture of an injured joey.

To the great weather here in Coffs Harbour. My family in my home town had heaters on while my daughters were swimming in the ocean.

To the lovely Linda Maree Phillips who rallied staff and organised an entire production to enter the Sunrise Minion Makeover competition for the special Education kids at Coffs Harbour Public. Hugs all round.

To a wonderful day at Orara Valley Fair and the fire fighters directing parking and traffic. The friendly stall holders. The balloon man who made a special request unicorn for my daughter.

To Coffs Harbour road maintenance for fixing the potholes on the Pacific Hwy near the Big Windmill.

To the Coffs Harbour & District Dance Eisteddfod for putting on a great weekend at the Coffs Harbour High School and the Jetty Theatre for the rest of this week.

To the 10 Coffs Harbour Public School kids and their parents who braved the rain on Saturday afternoon to perform at the Symphony of Australia concert at the showgrounds.

You all sang beautifully and are a credit to your teacher EJ Ford.

You all looked good in your raincoats.

To Judith Hanson and all the volunteers over the years who give their time at the Glenreagh School canteen. …
