ADULT BUSINESSES HEARING

The Clay County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday and could issue a recommendation about a proposed ordinance determining the location of sexually oriented businesses in unincorporated areas of the county. EMERGENCY HOME ENERGY FUNDS NOW AVAILABLE TO SENIORS

Nassau County Council on Aging now has funds available to help seniors 60 and older with their energy bills, provided by the Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program, or EHEAP. EHEAP funds are based on need, Nassau County residency and other factors. Westside Republican Club of Nassau County sponsors Reagan Day BBQ 2 p.m. Saturday at Callahan Fairgrounds, 543378 U.S. 1. Tickets are $10 and includes a plate of barbecue chicken with side dishes.
