BRODIAK FLORENCE (Alnwick). Peacefully in hospital on 10th June, aged 90 years, Florence, loving wife of Roman and much loved mother to Paul. Requiem Mass on Friday 19th June, at St. Paul's R. C. CLARK VERA South West Denton). Suddenly but peacefully in The Royal Infirmary on 10th June 2015, aged 93 years. Vera Monica (nee Oswell) beloved wife of the late Roderick, devoted mam of Bernard, Damian, Gavin and Audrey, dear mother-in-law of Joan, Maria, Chrissie and Dave, loving grandmother of Justine, Simon, Andrew, Maria and Damian, loving great grandmother of Franchesca, David, Thomas, Barnaby, Corey and Reece. Requiem Mass will be held at The Church of English Martyrs, Stamfordham Road on Thursday 18th June at 10.30am, followed by interment at West Road Cemetery at 11.30am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Brooke House Care Home Residential Fund. A collection plate will be in Church. All welcome afterwards to Westerhope Golf Club. Bright colours to celebrate Vera's life. Rest In Peace.

COCKBURN ROBERT ALEXANDER (Norham) Suddenly on Sunday 7th June 2015 aged 29 years, dearly loved son of Ruby and the late Derek and loved brother and uncle of all the family. Service at Norham Parish Church on Friday 19th June at 11am. Followed by Private Cremation. Friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please.

DAVIES CYRIL, CBE (Gosforth). Passed away peacefully at The Freeman Hospital on 6th June 2015, aged 91 years. Cyril, dearly loved husband of Betty, father of Nigel, Elizabeth, Christopher and Julia, grandfather and great grandfather. A former Chief Executive of Newcastle City Council, with a distinguished career in public service and to the arts, and devoted family man, he will be very much missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. Would family and friends please meet for a memorial service on Friday 19th June at 2.00pm at Heaton Methodist Church on Simonside Terrace to which he was deeply committed throughout his long adult life. HOPKINSON LILIAN (Great Whittington). Peacefully on 10th June 2015, at Burn Brae Lodge, Lilian, wife of the late Leslie and the late Sid Henson, loving mother of Christine, George and Paul, motherin-law of John, Tracy and Alison and stepmother to Dorothy and Leslie, a devoted and caring nanna to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
