Congratulations to Mr. Ted Watman, M.B.E

At a meeting of the South Grafton Rotary Club, Mr. Ted Watman was congratulated by members and guests of the club on being honoured with the M.B.E. in the Queen's Birthday honours list. Mr. M. V. McNamara spoke of the high esteem in which he is held in the community and of his many years of unselfish service in the numerous offices he has held.

Dismissed Charges Of Manslaughter

Mr. O. Edwards, S.M., at Grafton Court of Petty Sessions yesterday, dismissed two charges of manslaughter against a 19-years-old youth, who was later fined [pounds sterling]5 for negligent driving. He is Westley James McCloy, of Unanderra, who was involved in a motor car collision on April 16. A husband and wife, Kevin Thomas Robson (31) and Maureen Martha Robson (25), both of Cronulla, died as a result of the collision.

A Grafton man was fined [pounds sterling]50 at Grafton Court of Petty Sessions yesterday, for having driven while under the influence of intoxicating liquor. …
