BASKETBALL: No coach, no star player and no hope. That's not what the Meteors fill-in coach Rhys Martin thinks, though.

Martin has taken over the job for tonight's game against rivals Rockhampton Rockets, with regular coach Joel Khalu in charge of Papua New Guinea in the Pacific Games.

"I'm going to change in offence, and he's (Khalu's) going to see that on the tape and be like 'what's this?' just to try and counter some of things they (Rockhampton) do," Martin said.

Martin, who played two seasons with Rockhampton, said tonight's game would be tough.

"It's a tough place to play at, they (Rockhampton) always seem to find a way to perform at home in front of their home crowd," he said. …
