FELLING recorded their third victory to move into the top half of the table for the first time this season after an impressive allround performance against Boldon.

Skipper Chris Taylor was pleased with a win which lifted his team above their beaten opponents.

He said: "We did not make the ideal start, Stu Walker going second ball, but Dan Clark and Alan Robson showed we can make runs when Stu fails.

"They played sensibly at first and then increased the tempo.

"They had just passed the 200 partnership when Alan was out for 102.

"That was his third century this season since he signed from Backworth.

"Dan also went on to make his century, being dismissed for 113, and so I was very happy to declare the innings after 50 overs with the score on 261-4."

He added: "Boldon have given most teams a run for their money so we knew we had to bowl well. …
