MCAULEY White stunned Grafton Women's First Grade competition leaders Grafton High Blue 2-nil. But don't read into Saturday's results to determine future form, according to winning coach Ray Loy.

Murphy Thompson and Tiffany Lee scored the goals in the schoolgirl rivalry, which saw both teams decimated by injuries and holiday-makers.

"Both sides had players out so it was a bit scrappy in areas," Loy said.

"While it's a good win for us, I don't think you can get a true indication from it of what will happen later in the year.

Loy praised fullback Molly Hargans for an exceptional game while Lee was strong in midfield.

McAuley was missing representative stars Ellynie Cameron and Grace Clark through injury. Loy expects the latter to be back against Kylies this Saturday.

Meanwhile Demons Green continued their good form through the middle part of the season with a 3-1 defeat of Kylies, who were left to curse missed opportunities towards the start and end of the game. …
