A TECHNOLOGY firm has secured a major six-figure investment to bring its waste water cleaning processes to market - and create new jobs.

CatalySystems' technology will help Teesside's key process industries save, clean and re-use water.

Processes developed by the Wilton-based firm can decontaminate water, so it can be used again.

It's about to take its final steps towards full commercialisation, thanks to a key investment of PS870,000, from a consortium of existing investors and a new Angel syndicate.

It will use the cash to add to its team, including commercial and technical roles, as it prepares to go global with the technology, which uses advanced oxidation process (AOP) to decontaminate the waste water.

A range of sectors, including oil and gas, is being targeted.
