Missing a Match Won't Stop Rampaging Riley

CHRIS Riley won't be taking to the rugby league field this weekend; a shoulder injury keeping him out of the Valleys line-up.

Usually playing in two matches, it is a big change for the 18-year-old.

Riley has been dominating with the under-19s team which has only lost one match all year before keeping the boots on and playing in the A grade team.

He is most disappointed not to be playing this afternoon in the under-19s because it is against the Tannum Sands Seagulls who beat Valleys last time out.

"I am hoping we can get them, we have been talking about it and the boys have not been any keener," Riley said.

If there is any week Riley wanted to play, it was against the Seagulls, but there is also a positive to not taking part.

It means he will have a longer than usual day to watch his mates and the best rugby league in Central Queensland. …
