Bank Needs to Learn about Customer Care

I WENT to a Heritage Bank at Riverlink shopping centre last Friday morning because the bank I am with was not open yet.

I asked the teller if she could exchange a $5 note for five cent pieces for my grandson's school project.

The teller told me she could not because I didn't have an account with Heritage Bank.

I can understand if I was exchanging a cheque for cash, but what is so wrong about exchanging a cash for coins?

I just can't understand the mentality behind such a response.

Post Office customers thanked for caring

ON Friday morning, I went to the West Ipswich post office and encountered a problem.

I was upset but the post office staff and one of their customers came to my aid and helped.

The customer also drove me home. My thanks to her and her daughter.

The staff could not have been more helpful and obliging and to all involved I give a very sincere thank you.

When one has health problems and has trouble getting around, the extra mile some people and businesses will go are very much appreciated. …
