As well as breeders and farmers being able to show off their prime stock other events reflect the rural nature of the Sarina Show.

The centre ring will feature riding and horsemanship as an integral element of the Sarina Show, giving it a real Queensland country festival appeal.

A centre-ring highlight for 2015 will be the rodeo, with the action and thrills of the Jason Gill Rodeo showcasing bull riding, saddle and bareback bronc riding among the spectacle

The centre ring will also host judging and competitions for woodchopping and horse trials on both days and a number of gruelling events which will see some of the finest axe wielders compete against each other for annual bragging rights.

Some of the livestock at the show will also be on display throughout the weekend for admirers young and old to meet as well as the Gilmores Animal Nursery where children can pat a lamb, stroke a chicken or spend time with a range of animals in the nursery to feed and pat small creatures.

While a particular favourite at the show is the poultry and caged bird pavilion where the finest feathered winners can be seen and heard in all their finery. And for those dog lovers the show also holds the annual dog show competition to find the finest local pooch. …
