| Roll up, Roll up, for Hillsview Academy's Circus Extravaganza was held on Tuesday, July 7. Hillsview Academy welcomed new Year 7 students and parents with some amazing circus skills. There was also |the famous Bongo Warriors and students performed outside the academy as parents arrived. Hillsview Academy has set up it's very own circus this year with students learning a variety of skills in extra curricular clubs at lunchtime and after school.

The Brotton Stompers did a sponsered walk from Runswick Bay to Brotton - 12 miles in total - and raised the sum of PS735 for Cancer Research UK. All Stompers have been touched in some way in recent years by cancer. The Stompers are Jeff Bringloe, Denis Housam, Jemma Bringloe, Brenda Sheridan and Jacque Coulthard. | Officers, staff and vol-|unteers at Cleveland Police and Sopra Steria received awards in a ceremony held at the University of Teesside on June 25. Almost 40 individuals and teams were nominated for awards alongside Chief Constable Jacqui Cheer, who was presented with an award for her contribution to national policing. The Operation Boost team from Middlesbrough Town Centre were also nominated for an award, but were pipped to the post by Stockton Town Centre Neighbourhood Team.
