Crisp Labels Semi-Final as Hardest 2015 Hit-Out

BROTHERS coach Brent Crisp had little to gain by taking the job with his side at the beginning of the year but so far, he has delivered everything he possible could.

Coming off the back of a grand final win, Crisp only had the option to match the result.

He has taken his team as far as the grand final now, following a win over Tannum Sands in the major semi-final of the Gladstone rugby league competition.

Crisp said it was not just any finals match though, being the most physical match he has seen or been a part of in Gladstone.

"We got into the sheds after the game and there were boys who played all last year and I spoke to them and they said that is the most physical we have ever had," he said.

"We just went out and thought we would bash each other."

Crisp said the teams played the game in the right spirit, with some fun sledging between players, and the physicality was clean. …
