Want to know more? Who better to tell you what life is like at Stockton Riverside College than our students. This week we've seen lots of happy faces as students have been picking up results, so we caught up with a few to ask their views on the college.

'I'd do it all again' IT'S been good news all round for our computing and media department where 100% of students achieved their quali-fication.

Among those celebrating is Robert Enright of Billingham.

The 21-year-old got a triple distinction star on the BTEC Extended Diploma in IT and is now off to Teesside University to study a BSc in computing.

"I'm looking forward to getting started," said Robert. "I've been looking forward to going to university since I was at school and now I've finally got there."

Robert chose to study computing at Stockton Riverside College because it was close to home and the course sounded just right.

Today he says: "I enjoyed every moment. It has been the best years of my life. It wasn't just the lessons, it was the teachers, my classmates and the whole experience.

"I would do it all again."

Setting the scene BUDDING presenter and film-maker Alex Clinton is also celebrating success.

The 19-year-old from Stockton picked up a distinction star, distinction star, distinction in Level 3 Film and Television.

Now off to Salford University to study television and radio. He said: "I'm excited about the opportunities university holds."

Alex has already had a taste of life in the limelight when his short documentary I Moustache You A Question was selected to be featured on the BBC Three Fresh website.

Looking back at his time at college he said it was the friendliness of the staff that first attracted him to Stockton Riverside College and it didn't disappoint. …
