THE next three games will determine Sunderland Ladies season - and they couldn't be tougher.

Knocked out of the Continental Tyres Cup, the Lady Black Cats are still in contention for the Women's Super League One title and Champions League qualification.

It will be difficult to pull off but either, a top-two finish enough to secure a place in the Champions League for the first time.

Gaining enough points from the last three games, all against title rivals, for a side without a win in five will be tough for Carlton Fairweather's side.

First up is a televised game tomorrow against Manchester City at the club's Academy Stadium, the Blues unbeaten in 11 games - nine of which have been wins.

City are two points behind second-placed Sunderland with a game in hand.

The Wearsiders then host Arsenal, also two points adrift, before finishing at leaders Chelsea. Head coach Fairweather believes tomorrow's game will be pivotal. …
