STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LAUNCH SHOW (Tonight, BBC1, 7.15pm) THIS year's contestants, including singers Peter Andre, Daniel O'Donnell and Jamelia, broadcaster Jeremy Vine and EastEnder Kellie Bright, have already been announced, but the Strictly launch show is still a very big deal.

In fact, it's so important that reigning champion and new X Factor host Caroline Flack is even defecting from ITV and returning to the ballroom to salsa once again with her partner Pasha Kovalev.

Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are also back to reveal which celeb is being paired with which professional, while judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood get their first chance to assess the form as the class of 2015 take to the floor for a group number.

ODYSSEY (Tomorrow, BBC2, 10pm) IT MAY have made for gripping Sunday night viewing, but it seems not enough US viewers got behind this drama - it's been announced that there won't be a second season.

So, as series one draws ever-closer to its finale (this is the penultimate episode), let's hope there aren't too many loose ends left dangling.

This week, Odelle (Anna Friel) wonders if she can start a new life in Algeria with Luc, but any plans she might have had to leave her past behind are shattered when she rescues a drowning girl, which forces her into the media spotlight.

THE QUEEN'S LONGEST REIGN: ELIZABETH & VICTORIA (Monday, BBC1, 9pm) ON WEDNESDAY, Elizabeth II is set to become Britain's longest-serving monarch - beating the previous record set by Queen Victoria.

Their reigns have been a century apart, and this documentary - presented by Sophie Raworth - sets out to discover if there are any similarities between their careers.

Certainly they both steered the country through periods of remarkable change. There's also a chance to see archive footage of both women at official events.

THE HAIRY BIKERS' NORTHERN EXPOSURE (Tuesday, BBC2, 8pm) DAVE Myers and Si King travel to the Baltic states, starting with Lithuania. …
