It's Been a Woof Time for Us, but Kendal's Back Now; Family's Delight as Missing Puppy Returns

MISSING puppy Kendal is back in her owner's arms two weeks after she vanished.

The 14-week old Dachshund disappeared from a family home in Benwell, Newcastle, on Saturday, August 22. Her owners feared she may have been stolen.

Michelle Dacarteret and her daughter Jade Stewart were convinced they would never see their beloved pet again, and offered a reward for her safe return.

But on Thursday a neighbour called at their home, on Gill Street, with Kendal in their arms saying they had found the pooch on the street.

Jade, said: "I was devastated when she was stolen. I was heartbroken.

"It was like a member of the family had gone.

"We have been so lucky, I'm just overwhelmed to have her back.

And Michelle, added: "We are so relieved. I was starting to think we would never get her back."

Kendal vanished on a Saturday afternoon when she was in the house with Jade. …
