- Louisiana-Lafayette safety Tracy Walker (Brunswick) had nine tackles in a 44-17 win over Northwestern State.

- Virginia Tech WR Isaiah Ford (Trinity Christian) had five catches for 77 yards and two TDs in a 42-3 victory over Furman.

- Kentucky DB Chris Westry (Oakleaf) earned SEC freshman of the week honors after intercepting a pass to preserve a 26-22 win over South Carolina. He added a sack and earned SEC weekly defensive player honors from College Sports Madness.

- Jake Stoshak (University Christian) had 10 tackles in FAU's 44-20 loss to Miami.

- Idaho DB Dorian Clark (Baldwin) had eight tackles in a 59-9 loss at Southern Cal.

- Wofford safety Malik Rivera (Bartram Trail) had seven tackles in a 34-14 win over Tennessee Tech.

- Mercer's Tee Mitchell (Bolles) ran for 71 yards and a TD and he had 57 yards and a TD receiving in the Bears' 57-14 win over Stetson. WR Darius McGriff (Mandarin) had five catches for 84 yards in the loss.

- Florida LB Jarrad Davis (Camden County) had a game-best 10 tackles, including three for losses, while DB Nick Washington (Trinity Christian) had six tackles and a quarterback hit in the Gators' 31-24 win over East Carolina.

- South Carolina QB Perry Orth (Ponte Vedra) came off the bench to complete 13 of 20 passes for 179 yards and a TD in a 26-22 loss to Kentucky.

- LSU CB Kevin Toliver II (Trinity Christian) had 61/2 tackles in a 21-19 win at Mississippi State.

- Alabama RB Derrick Henry (Yulee) rushed 18 times for 101 yards and three TDs in a 37-10 win over Middle Tennessee.

- Jacksonville State DB Rashod Byers (First Coast) had six tackles in a 27-20 overtime loss at Auburn.

- QB John Wolford (Bishop Kenny) completed 30 of 45 passes for 373 yards and a TD and WR Chuck Wade (Kenny) had five catches for 82 yards in Wake Forest's 30-17 loss at Syracuse.

- Guard Armando Bonheur (Fleming Island) helped Samford roll for 752 total yards against FAMU in a 58-21 win. Rattlers punter Colby Blanton (Atlantic Coast) averaged 45.7 yards on six punts and Elijah Price (Sandalwood) had seven tackles in the loss. …
