IF EVERY one of Arsenal's players offered the consistent effort of Alexis Sanchez, what a different team they would constitute. And how much brighter would be their mood as they prepare for Manchester United at the Emirates.

It should shame Arsene Wenger's squad that, after years of patient perhaps too patient nurture and integration, they display less of that coveted consistency than a United side featuring several new players.
