SEB Larsson says the Wear-Tyne derby must be the turning point for Sunderland as they look to prevent their winless start extending into double figures.

Sam Allardyce's arrival as manager could not halt the run as the Black Cats' defeat at West Bromwich Albion saw their winless streak stretch to nine games since the start of the season - equalling the club's worstever top flight starts in 1969-70 and 1976-77.

The Wearsiders looked solid throughout Allardyce's first game in charge but again ended up empty-handed as Saido Berahino's controversial goal condemned the Wearsiders to their sixth defeat of the campaign.
