Artist Stephen Glassborow will lead a masterclass at Art Nuvo gallery.

1. SILVERSMITHS

& LIFE DRAWERS EXHIBITION

ARTISANS from the Buderim Craft Cottage Silversmith Group will display handcrafted contemporary and traditional jewellery using a variety of materials including silver, gold and copper together with precious and semi-precious stones. Where: Buderim Craft Cottage, 5 Main St, Buderim.

When: Today 9am to 6pm, tomorrow 9am to 3pm, Sunday 9am to 2pm

Cost: Entry is by way of gold coin donation. Light refreshments will be available at the Cottage.

2. BRONZE AGE EXHIBITION

WORTH their weight in bronze, Sydneysider Stephen Glassborow's statues will feature at his Bronze Age exhibition at Buderim's Art Nuvo gallery, opening tomorrow. Mr Glassborow will also lead a masterclass giving people an exclusive chance to learn what goes on behind the scenes at a special ticketed event.

Where: Art Nuvo Buderim, 25 Gloucester Rd, Buderim.

When: The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday, 10am-5pm and Saturday, 10am-2pm.

Cost: Gallery entry free; bronze masterclass is $40. .

3. REDISCOVERED EXHIBITION

MILES Allen has spent endless hours scouring Australia's forgotten mining towns and abandoned places to gather obsolete or discarded objects, transforming them to create artworks with rhythmic, colourful compositions.

When: Until November 29, Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

4. NOOSA SURF FILM FESTIVAL

TWO days of music, art, film and parties, all in the name of surf culture. The festival merges many creative communities including film, music and art, as well as various surfing communities. Where: The J, Junction Alley, The Laneway.

When: Today and tomorrow Cost: Tickets are $15 per screening, or $60 for a festival pass (six screenings).
