I WONDER if Cameron, Hunt and co realise just how much damage they are doing to people with mobility problems and how much extra strain this is going to put on the NHS.

Last year we had letters to say we were on DLA indefinitely, later in the year we had letters to say they would be in touch in 2016!

A letter in the third week of September then said that DLA would stop in October 2015.

Not only do you lose mobility benefit, but probably also the mobility car. Can you imagine what this means to thousands of people in this country? This may be the only contact a lot of people have with the outside world, their only way of getting some shopping, doctors' appointments, hospital appointments etc.

If they don't have mobility cars and use their benefits for taxis then this stops as well. So if you are disabled, no car, can't afford a taxi, you're stuck. …
