Tweed Ready for Epic Anzac Battle

ANZAC brotherhood will be put aside when the rejuvenated Wallabies take aim at the All Blacks in arguably one of the most anticipated finals in World Cup history.

The Wallabies hold the hopes of the nation and are peaking at the right time following years in the relative wilderness, while the ghost of Cups past will be strongly on the minds of the Kiwis when the teams run out at Twickenham.

Casuarina Junior Rugby Club president Brian Laybutt said he wouldn't miss the match for the world and like hordes of fanatics, will set the alarm and rise in the night's darkest hours.

"We (the family) will absolutely be getting up for it," Laybutt said.

"It will be a very bleary Monday, but it's only once every four years."

Laybutt said the team had developed a nucleus of solid players that the national side had long been missing and was bullish about its chances.
