Junior quarterback Deejay Dallas led an offensive explosion by Glynn Academy, which rolled on Friday night.***... Dallas accounted for four touchdowns, and the Terrors (7-2, 6-1 Region 3-AAAAA) racked up a season-high 475 yards as they blew past the struggling Blue Devils (2-7, 2-5) on their home field. ... Dallas led a Glynn ground attack that gained 343 yards by rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. Dallas, who took over as the starting quarterback when the Terrors began their winning streak, passed for another 132 yards and three touchdowns while going 7 for 11 through the air with no interceptions. ... The victory was the fifth in a row for the Terrors and kept them alive for at least a share of the region championship next week if they can get a victory over South Effingham in the season finale for both teams in Brunswick. ... Glynn and Coffee, which gave South Effingham its second region loss of the season Friday, are tied atop the league standings going into the final week of the regular season. If the Terrors also defeat the Mustangs next week and Coffee gets past winless Bradwell Institute, as expected, the teams finish the season tied for first in the region. However, Coffee would earn the top seed for the playoffs based on its victory over Glynn in their head-to-head meeting this season. The Terrors would then be the second seed for the Class AAAAA state playoffs. Glynn has not won a region championship since 1972.
