What have you got there? I caught this 67cm grunter bream at South Trees Inlet. I was in my tinny and had been there for half an hour when the line went off. I ended up catching a couple and I usually find that when you get one you'll get another.

What bait were you using? I always have success with peeled banana prawns. They seem to be the go but I also use pilchards.

How often do you go fishing? I try to go as often as I can or whenever I get time off. At the moment I'm teaching my kids how to fish so it's good to get out there when I can. I'm always trying to find new ground. I usually like to fish on the run-in tide or sometimes you can get lucky right at the end of a run-out tide.

Who taught you how to fish? My grandfather and dad taught me everything I know. …
