The honors keep stacking up for Brandon Mancheno of Jacksonville and Tama Caldabaugh of Ponte Vedra Beach.

Mancheno, a Mandarin High junior who won three Florida Junior Tour events, was named the Florida State Golf Association junior player of the year for 2015, and Caldabaugh, who reached the semifinals of the USGA Senior Women's Amateur, was named the FSGA Senior women's player of the year.

Mancheno finished among the top 10 in all nine of his FJT starts and had eight finishes of third or better. He won the FJT Tour Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in a playoff and added other victories at the Gainesville Country Club and Orange County National.

He then finished third at the FSGA Boys Junior at the Belleair Country Club and was the medalist at the U.S. Junior Boys at Colleton River, S.C.

Mancheno, who has verbally committed to Auburn, tied for fifth last week at the Class 3A state boys high school tournament. He was also selected as an honorable mention on the American Junior Golf Association's Rolex All-American team.

Caldabaugh, 51, is the first player from the First Coast to be named player of the year in any of the three women's categories since the FSGA began awarding them in 2004. She broke Mary Jane Hiestand's five-year hold on the senior women's award.

Caldabaugh tied for fourth in the FSGA Women's Senior Amateur and reached the semifinals of the Ione Jones/Doherty Senior Championship. At the USGA Senior Women's Amateur at the Hillwood Country Club in Nashville, Caldabaugh was the medalist and got to the semifinals before losing in 21 holes to Pamela Kuong.

She also finished third in the First Coast Women's Amateur senior division, 10th in the Women's Senior Eastern Championship and 11th in the Women's Senior North and South.
