TWO women have been jailed for a "honey trap" burglary, in which they lured a man on a first date while his home was raided.

One of the pair arranged to meet the victim in a pub while her associate helped to burgle his London home.

"Heartless" Sarah Ireland, 26, and Amy Moffatt, 25, were each jailed for two years by Isleworth crown court yesterday after pleading guilty to burglary at an earlier hearing.

They met their victim in a chance encounter while filling up their car at a Hayes petrol station in May.

Moffatt spoke to the man, who is in his forties, as he filled his car at an adjoining pump encouraging him to give her his phone number. Minutes later they exchanged texts and arranged to meet at a pub that evening.

When they met up Moffatt persuaded the man to give his address, which she then passed on to Ireland in a text.

Within minutes Ireland and a male associate visited the house in Hayes and forced open the front door to be confronted by a teenage boy. …
