1. (1) TRINITY CHRISTIAN (10-0), CLASS 3A

Last week: d. Pensacola Pine Forest, 32-22

This week: Region 1-3A semifinals, vs. Pensacola Catholic (2-8)

Glance: The Conquerors go wire-to-wire in both the state poll and the TU's Power Poll and now turn their focus on winning their third consecutive state title.

2. (3) COLUMBIA (9-1), CLASS 7A

Last week: d. Suwannee, 45-7

This week: Region 1-7A regional quarterfinals, vs. Tallahassee Chiles (6-4)

Glance: The Tigers, ranked third in the state, are averaging 40.7 ppg and have a favorable playoff draw.

3. (5) MANDARIN (10-0), CLASS 8A

Last week: d. Fletcher, 27-10

This week: Region 1-8A quarterfinals, vs. Oviedo (6-4)

Glance: After two weeks of closer-than-expected games, the Mustangs closed out the regular season strong. They're ranked third in the state poll.

4. (2) RAINES (9-1), CLASS 4A

Last week: lost to Ribault, 19-14

This week: Region 1-4A semifinals, vs. Springfield Rutherford (3-7)

Glance: The Vikings have had their issues down the stretch, but open the state playoffs as one of the area's top contenders to reach the state title game.

5. (4) BOLLES (8-2), CLASS 4A

Last week: Off

This week: Region 1-4A semifinals, at DeFuniak Springs Walton (10-0), 8:30

Glance: The Bulldogs have a big challenge in Week 1 of the postseason, although they have been almost airtight under coach Corky Rogers in the playoffs (24-1) in those games, the lone miss coming in 1992.

6. (7) ST. AUGUSTINE (9-1), CLASS 6A

Last week: d. Palatka, 66-28

This week: Region 1-6A quarterfinals, at Niceville, 8:30

Glance: It has been 16 years since the state-ranked No. 7 Yellow Jackets have started the state playoffs on the road this far away.

7. (6) PONTE VEDRA (8-2), CLASS 5A

Last week: d. Creekside, 17-12

This week: Region 2-5A quarterfinals, vs. Ribault (6-4)

Glance: It wasn't pretty in Week 11 against winless Creekside, but the Sharks, ranked 10th in the state poll, go into the playoffs on a three-game winning streak. …
