MARITIME MANAGEMENT PLAN MEETING

Jacksonville is beginning a Maritime Management Plan, working with a team from the Regional Council, UNF and JU for the next year to study maritime facilities and needs and desires of the community for those facilities. A meeting giving an overview of the plan process and potential public survey questions will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Blue Cypress Park Community Center, 4012 University Blvd. N. BEACHES MUSEUM HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE

Beaches Museum & History Park hosts a holiday open house 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at 381 Beach Blvd. Activities include concerts in the chapel and museum, visit from Santa, Christmas Tree Lighting and holiday refreshments. SENIOR HEALTH AND LIFESTYLE EXPO

The Orange Park/Fleming Island Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Thrasher-Horne Center, 283 College Drive, Orange Park. Seniors can meet health professionals for health care advice and free screenings. Companies catering to seniors' needs will display products and services, and a panel of experts will answer questions from attendees.
