SHE might be Queen of the Jungle and have seen her popularity soar in the past few weeks but Vicky Pattison admits she's been deeply hurt in the past by the reaction she's had on home turf. While she's currently in the middle of a media circus in London, the I'm A Celebrity winner can't wait to kick-start her festive season back in her native Newcastle and is hoping this Christmas Eve will be better than last year's, when she was forced to leave her local after drinkers hurled abuse at her.

"I've been going to that pub for Christmas for as long as I can remember but the reaction last year shocked me," she told The Chronicle after appearing on This Morning on Friday.

"Having to leave early because of the things people were saying put a massive downer on the night and left me really upset.

"I know I've not made some of the best choices in the past few years but I've never ever set out to hurt anyone. …
