NEW KEYSTONE HEIGHTS CITY MANAGER

Stan Kornegay becomes the new Keystone Heights city manager effective Monday, Jan. 4, at an annual salary of $59,000 and a 5 percent 401(k) match. He also will get a monthly $250 car and cellphone allowance. Kornegay now is project manager for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.

The Amelia Island Jazz Festival's fifth annual Big Band Bash kicks off 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, at Omni Resorts Amelia Island Plantation with the Dynamic Les DeMerle Orchestra and a special tribute to Frank Sinatra.
