SHE'S the controversial human headline and she's headed our way to celebrate Australia Day.
One Nation party leader and polarising political figure Pauline Hanson will be on the Coast today to attend a citizenship ceremony as well as a luncheon at the Red Sea restaurant in Maroochydore to raise funds for the party.
The Queensland Senate hopeful said she'd held ties with the region and had been a visitor for many years, always finding it "very good" on the Sunshine Coast.
Ms Hanson yesterday spoke on a range of issues, including her party's immigration policies, electoral funding and whether she was confident of securing a Senate seat when Queenslanders next hit the federal polling booths.
She spoke of her recent travels throughout Queensland, delivering hay to farmers in dire circumstances.
"People are so fed up with major political parties," she said.
