Internet Star Biggar Ready to Get His Kicks Again

Ireland v Wales DAN BIGGAR'S goal-kicking brilliance at the World Cup has made him a star in Wales, where he picked up their Sports Personality of the Year Award, writes Chris Jones.

Central to his triumph was the majestic work with the boot that secured the pool victory over England at Twickenham and he now carries the kind of pressure that used to be reserved for Leigh Halfpenny when he had the kicking duties. With Halfpenny not due back from a serious leg injury until March, Biggar is once more cast in the role of Welsh saviour and he is fully understands the expectation as he prepares for Sunday's RBS Six Nations opener against an Ireland team that has won successive championship titles.

The Ospreys outside-half, whose unique pre-kick routine has become an internet sensation, with fans adding music to make it look like he is dancing, said: "A lot more is expected of you, for sure.
