THE rich smell of Italian cuisine will waft through Stockland Rockhampton in coming months as Rozzi's Italian Canteen fires up their kitchen at The Terrace.

Rozzi's, a popular eatery in Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Gold Coast and other spots across the country, was yesterday confirmed as one of six food retailers to take up residency at Stockland's new rapidly developing $6.6 million Terrace development.

Celebrating Italian-style food in a friendly home-style kitchen environment that would make nonna proud, Rozzi's Italian Canteen will take a 144 sq m tenancy with alfresco dining space in the new Terrace dining precinct this year. It will be in great company situated alongside an international mix of cuisines with Max Brenner Chocolate Bar, Gelatissimo, Guzman Y Gomez and Burger Urge already confirmed to take up tenancies.

Rozzi's has a strong focus on authenticity, represented through its dining experience and focus on good quality produce cooked simply and enjoyed with family and friends. The new Rozzi's Italian Canteen at Stockland Rockhampton will follow suit from previous establishments specialising in real Italian cooking, with freshly made pasta dishes the way real Italians enjoy, traditional Napolitano style pizza cooked on imported stone ovens and seriously good salads, bread and coffee.

Stockland centre manager Nathanial Barbagallo was extremely excited to announce the latest addition to The Terrace.

"Bringing the real taste of Italy to the people of Rockhampton, Rozzi's Italian Canteen will be a fantastic addition for our customers sitting alongside a first class list of big name food retailers, which we know our customers will love," Mr Barbagallo said.
