The 10km event starts at 7am with the 4km run starting at 7.30am.

Entry fees are $20 for individuals or $40 for a family.

The run starts at Picnic Point and finishes at Lake Annand.

Enter at Willows Health and Lifestyle Centre, Kitchener St, or at Grand Central outside Rebel Sport on the three Saturday's prior to the event from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

THE 2016 Peak2Park family fun run is being held to honour organiser Ruth Logan's late husband Tony, who died last year from an aggressive melanoma.

She said Tony was an extremely humble and modest man and had been working behind the scenes on the event for the past decade.

Tragically, he was diagnosed with advanced melanoma secondaries not long after last year's event in March and died after a three-month battle.

"The Peak2Park committee struggled to feel able to run the event this year without his help, until it was suggested that we devote the event to his memory," Mrs Logan said. …
