best ever THIRTY students from Stockton Sixth Form College are currently taking in the sights of New York as part of an exciting, extra-curricular trip designed to enhance their classroom studies.

Students across a wide range of subjects, including business, dance and performing arts, history, media studies, and travel and tourism, made the trip to The Big Apple to follow a busy itinerary around the city's historic and cultural hotspots.

Business students have been invited to take a tour along Wall Street, the iconic home of the American financial sector, and study how New York has become the world's leading economic centre, whilst history students visited just some of the city's fascinating museums.

Dance and performing arts students visited a handful of the 40 professional commercial theatres in the Theatre District whilst travel students analysed aspects of the US tourism industry, taking in the sights of Times Square, Staten Island, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty.
