CHANCE 3 mins: Boro straight on the front foot as Cristhian Stuani fizzes a teasing cross from the right which bounces awkwardly for Rotherham goalkeeper Lee Camp, but he diverts it away from danger.

CHANCE 13 mins: Decent break forward by Gaston Ramirez through the middle as he beats one defender just outside the box, but he's eventually crowded out before he can get his shot away.

CHANCE 16 mins: What a great chance for Boro to take the lead as David Nugent pounces on a Richard Wood mistake and is through one-on-one, but he blazes it over Camp's crossbar.

CHANCE 20 mins: Boro come even closer to the breakthrough as Ramirez curls a 25-yard free-kick over the wall and it rattles off the inside of the post and out. So close.

SUBSTITUTION 25 mins: Stephen Kelly replaces ex-Boro defender Frazer Richardson who limps off injured.

CHANCE 26 mins: A swift counter attack by Rotherham and it's a half-chance for former Newcastle striker Leon Best, but he scuffs his shot harmlessly at Dimi Konstantopoulos after Jerome Thomas broke dangerously down the left.

BOOKING 27 mins: Richie Smallwood is booked for persistent fouling.

CHANCE 38 mins: At the other end, Rotherham threaten from a corner as Emilio Nsue makes a vital interception to head the ball just beyond Greg Halford at the back post.

BOOKING 39 mins: Matt Derbyshire is booked for a cynical challenge on Nugent.
