SIMBAH and Johnny Feedback are two racehorses with their eyes on the prize.

Both will take to the field at Grafton today to forge new campaigns after a few months of track work, and this year Grafton trainer Dwayne Schmidt is hoping to take them to the top; or at least to the Grafton July Racing Carnival.

"Whatever they do with this run they'll improve," he said.

"They're aiming for the July Carnival, but they just have to work their way there.

"Both of them have got a bit of ability so I am pretty confident we'll get there.

"They are the best two I've got barring one other."

As for tomorrow's races, Schmidt said he thought Johnny Feedback, was the best chance for a place despite drawing a bad barrier.

"Johnny has drawn the outside barrier but it won't really worry him because he'll get back to nearly last early on and then storm home," he said. …
