IT'S May - and while the 4th has been with us, the rest of the month dangles the carrot of gaming delights, so here are five titles which should be on your radar before you cast a clout and the month is out...

BATTLEBORN PS4, XBOX ONE, PC Release date: May 3 IF you like your games colourful and crazy, then this new title from the creators of Borderlands could be just up your street.

Choose from a myriad quirky but dangerous characters, to team up with and fight to save a dying star from an unstoppable menace.

The more you play, the more you unlock, giving you access to a vast array of upgrades to build and grow your team of fighters.

Initial reports have been mixed, but Battleborn's true potential seems to lie in its multi-player mode.

Fast and brutal, the co-op levels have been garnering lots of love from reviewers.

UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END PS4 Release date: May 10 AFTER an amazing few years, it's hard to believe this marks the end of the Uncharted series.

And Nathan Drake's last hurrah has not been without its issues.

Originally slated for a 2015 release, Naughty Dog pushed that back to allow for more development time - then delayed it by two weeks to allow for a worldwide release.

Then there was the fact some retailers posted the game out for the old release date - and some of those lucky gamers couldn't hold their own water and flooded the internet with spoilers.

Thanks guys. But, putting all that aside, I genuinely can't wait to get my hands on Uncharted 4 - which sees Nathan team up with his brother Sam for one last adventure on a global scale.
