THE ROYALS have always been ripe for an impersonation, and this latest spoof sends them up with no mercy. Kudos to Harry Enfield who wins the 'best impression' award for his role as Prince Charles, who in this comedy soap opera is desperately trying to keep his family in order.

In tonight's double bill we meet the family, who are largely ridiculous, evil or just downright stupid.

Wills (Hugh Skinner) wants to mingle with his subjects, so he gets a job in the local caff cleaning the bogs, disguised as Billy.

Meanwhile, Kate (Louise Ford) is worried that she doesn't have a real role and the family don't like her. She's right of course.

Scheming Camilla (a brilliantly wicked Haydn Gwynne) hates Wills and Kate's popularity and is obsessed with where her family sits in the line to the throne.

"Where would our child be in line to the throne?" she asks Charles, perusing articles about pensioners giving birth. …
