WITH 30 years servicing the mining industry, Transnational Services Alliance's Robert Khan knows the market and is an expert at moving ahead of the game.

The Indigenous alliance services company has recently swooped into the small mining town of Bluff, to takeover Bluff Village, which was formerly occupied by Jellibah Mining.

Ten minutes from the coal capital of Queensland, Blackwater, the village boasts 92 fully ensuited rooms in a comfortable, tranquil centre.

Managing director Robert Khan says the mining market can be tough to pick, but is both "confident and optimistic that the bust is drawing to a close".

"We think we are on the cusp where the industry is showing signs of recovery," Robert said.

"As a service provider we are conscious of those market trends, we have seen a stabilisation. …
