I'M SO sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. You looked so vibrant in the shop and I just had to take you home. There was so much colour in you and you looked so happy.

When I took you home I had the noblest intentions. I was going to care for you, love you, and give you everything you needed. I even read the little tag that came with you to show me just the sort of love you need to thrive.

But then things got in the way. I've been busy. And when you get busy the ones you love the most get neglected. There was so much other stuff to do and places to go. I couldn't take you with me.

The rain the other day seemed the perfect time to give you some love. That's the reason I put you outside. There is nothing like rainwater to boost your spirits

I wasn't exiling you from the house to survive on your own. It was an act of love.

You were like a prisoner and I just want to put you outside for some revitalisation. …
