ORARA Valley is facing its most important week of the season.

The Axemen sit inside the top five but by the end of next weekend it could be a different situation.

Tomorrow Orara Valley hosts Grafton before it meets Sawtell on Tuesday night and Woolgoolga next weekend.

Win all three and the Axemen can be considered a genuine premiership threat. To be a serious finals contender Orara Valley must win at least two of the upcoming fixtures. Win one or less and the green and golds will be locked in a battle for the rest of the season to simply qualify for a semi final berth.

Orara is facing a confident Ghosts outfit tomorrow, riding on the wave of a five game winning streak, which will make it hard for the Coramba team to get its week off to a winning

start.

Nambucca Heads is also turning heads after winning its past four matches.

That good form will face a stern test this weekend when it faces the undefeated South Grafton in enemy territory while Woolgoolga travels to Macksville for a potentially problematic encounter. …
