City Pride Finds Our Best Coffee; Country Cafes Feature in Top 10

TO help celebrate the City Pride campaign all this month, the QT wants your opinion on who you like to do business with across Ipswich.

We asked our Facebook fans for their opinion on which Ipswich business delivers the best cup of coffee, and as expected, our Facebook page went bonkers!

After sifting through more than 20 nominated business, Ipswich voted and Strictly Coffee in Brisbane St came out as your choice for your favourite caffeine fix, followed by Florrey Bel in Tivoli and Kerri's Coffee Cottage in Eastern Heights.

Amanda Peden is owner of Strictly Coffee and started the business just 18 months ago as she felt there was a gap in the market for a dedicated coffee shop.

"There was a space in the market for good coffee, for a business that just solely focussed on that coffee, without spreading your wings too broad into other things like food," she said.

"People traditionally follow the barista, not the coffee, and we're very humbled by the loyalty our customers show to us and our baristas. …
